Welcome to our hub for student resources on all things fundraising. This site is designed to support students as they utilize our textbook ‘Fundraising: Principles and Practice’ (authors: Adrian Sargeant and Jen Shang), but it will also be useful to students of fundraising in general.  Our goal is to be as helpful as possible to individuals interested in fundraising wherever they may be. Each of our fundraising topics offers an overview, web links to relevant resources and a recommended reading list that includes articles and books by both practitioners and academics. You will also find a separate section containing self-test quizzes on each topic and a list of our favorite fundraising websites (coming soon).

Please feel free to send us an email, to tell us what you think or what we have missed. We hope over time to build this site into a leading resource for information on academic fundraising research and the very best of professional practice.

Incidentally, if you are an instructor or trainer we do have a series of five teaching cases we would be happy to share. Just drop us a line!

If you need to raise funds from donors, you need to study them, respect them, and build everything you do around them.
